8.6 Overdrive R7; X-F 122; C-Volt 44.....Melville

Breeze dropped when I arrived! Desperate, frustrating but as always nice to be in the water....would have been good to string a few runs together.

Many of the team out tho!

GT8.1, XFire102/FireMove130. Rockit32/MUFD27. Melville. Good solid lightwind session getting to know the TurboGT 8.1. Pleased to find out that it works well on the 102, which was a bit of suprise - thought that it would be too big, but it felt nicely balanced. Good to see plenty of the team and lots of TurboGTs out!

RRD Firestorm 120L with 8.6M Turbo GT & 40 Canefire

The canefire wasn't big enough so changed to the 44 MFC

Had a spin on the Patrik 128 Hollow, Interesting, different to my boards but felt very slippery, even with the fin hanging out 5mm Surprised

Hard slog for not much reward but lots out enjoying the PH Laughing

Sailed the last 3 days so can't really complain Laughing

Melville, R5 9.5, Pat 128, Carp 44. Wanted to try the Pat with a big sail, 9.5 is probably a little big but it still handled it OK. ( even if the fin base was sticking out 5mm ;) Switched to the RRD 129 at the end for a couple of runs. Good to see so many out.

Severne R4 9.6, Mistral 137, CL 44. At great risk of p#*^ing some fellow crew members off in saying, "I had a ball today"......., I had a ball today. Perfect rig for the day!!
