Elmo (31413km): JP SS 100L, NP RSR E6 6.4m, JP weed 31cm Late after work sail after work which helped clear out a lot of snot. Surprisingly good
ratz (10868km): Glory Holes, Australind, WA, AU a very quick sail missed the morning sesh due to a few things to do wind came back in about three but lots of south in it which isnt real flash for here alternating from barely planing to blown off the water strong called it before carnage ensured used a iso 86 with a 26 lessacher weedy and a 6.2 severne R3.
Decrepit (54500km): I think this was a yeeha session. YEEEEEEEEHHHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 70 year old PB and open estuary PB for me. Did it right for once, rigged for the gusts, and actually managed to hang on to one. When Pas and I arrived it looked a bit light, and I was tempted to rig the 5.4, but it seemed to be picking up as forecast, so took a gamble and went for my PB rig, the 5.0 koncept on the 43cm board with the 19cm 45deg weedy. Didn't look like I'd get going, but there was more wind than there appeared, had no trouble, and was quickly in the 30s and climbing. Pas unfortunately had listened to me thinking about rigging the 5.4, and he did the same, admitedly it did look a tad light for a 4.7 but it's what he should have rigged. I know from experience the avi 5.4 becomes a bit of a handfull at it's top end. As Pas retired Paul came out, followed by Strop Gavin and Alby. Amazing to watch Strop blasting around, he just makes speed sailing look so easy. Here's the downloaded log data from the GW52. ===TOP 10 MAX SPEED=== Shows 2 things how much the 2c average drops from your max speed. And the flukey nature of the gusts, very hard to get a good 10s, and very hard to time a gust. But when things came together, OH BOY. And here's the GPS Visualizer view. What's obvious frpm this is the absence of gybes, which could have something to do with my "0" alpha.

(Mu-) fin (15418km): Peelinlet, liptons, WA, AU Well !!! um I dont know, I'll get back.
OK, I got to liptons about 1400hr to conditions that had dropped off a bit, as forcast, but things may be picking up. Got out the old slalom, thought about rigging the 5.8 untill Decrepit arrived, who said its gona pick up, so went for the 5.3 Avi. Wind did pic up, so changed the board to the smaller 47to42 cutaway with 24cm 45weed. By the time I was ready to set of things wher looking realy good(windy). It didnt take long before things started getting out of control with the 5.3 and I was getting stuffed, thought about getting the 4.7 out, but.... I stuffed,!! Its still cold out,???

Oaf (7363km): Peel Inlet, WA, AU Sometimes things just alll align right. Today was one of those, I was able to get off work early, Ru was able to fetch the boys for me, the wind blew... and everything just right. Nice to see a few out on a tuesday afternoon. Looked like smiles all round for Mike, Paz, Stroppo, Gav and Elmo. Very happy with my scores today with 2 top 3 scores. I know if I listened to Stroppo I might have gone a bit faster, but I was happy to end the day unhurt with no breakages and with the scores I got. Manta 86, 6.0 GPS
