Sanctuary Point, NSW, AU - Manta 61 - Ryde 6.5 - BP Weed 31.

Gusty SSW conditions today with Gav. Big chop out past the mark made for some wild rides back from Wrights.

Great to see a special guest apperance from Keef. After inspecting works and marking out his new rigging area on the hill it was good to see the Captain make a welcome return to the water.

Primbee, NSW, AU

Falcon 99, OD R7 6.2, 32 tribal slalom fin

Did not last very long today, got smashed on way across the bumps, and decided to cut it short and retire back to the carpark while gear in one piece.

Still good to get out and see some of the New Cal trip team and discuss gear :)

Patrik 100 / R5 OD 5.6 / ND Special

First session of the NSW GPS Freerace series. Super strong SSW, big chop and a very unfamiliar stretch of water.

Managed to survive the first race but after a few big spills, decided to give the second race a miss. Third race was a bit manageble but still pretty crazy 'washing-machine' type water.

Great to catch up with everyone and see some simply incredible sailing by Remi, Byron et al.

Sanctuary Point, NSW, AU rigged a bit big as you don't get a good indcation of the wind with the weed beds glassy flat , i would have thought 15 to 20nts but more like 20 to 25+, had a lot of trouble waterstarting the 6.4 evo7 and out of condition as i havent sailed a lot this year

great to catch up with Brenden and Gav with Brenden on fire with a 6.7 i would have been happy with a 5m, looks like a good season coming as CC ,Gav,and Dez has more sailing time Cool

First Round of NSW GPS Free Race

Race 1: Couldn't gybe my skinny board in chop to save my life, span out on almost every run....spent most of my time in the water not on it
Race 2: Went up a board size, had much more fun
Race 3: Chop died down (sorta),  set a new 2sec PB for my big board and busted the main panel of my sail

CA 94 then 119, Drake Slalom 32, XO Gold 6.3 RIP

Thanks for posting guys. Was wondering how the boat ramp would do in a SSWer.

If next Sunday promises a NEr I'll see ya there!
