Started at 20 knts NE then built to 30.

JP Racing 66 with Tectonics 36cm fin, NP Racing LT1 7.8 for most of the sail (including peak speed) until it got too windy then NP RS Racing Evo V 7.0m but was too buggered by then to do any good.

Happy with the top speed on that sail.  Feels nice and stable, although the 34knts was a little hairy.

Great to see so many guys out having a blast.  Disappointed to see other users of the area show such disregard for other people.  Exhibit A was the piles of plastic and rubbish blowing from the family groups enjoying the beach.  Exhibit B were the clever clogs who decided to drop a fishing line in right where sailors were coming in on the beach.  And last but not least were the champs in the fishing boat who did not give way and nearly flattened me.  I could (should?) have reached out and smacked them they came that close.
