Lake Illawarra, NSW, AU. Phantom 377, 7.5m NCX, Katana 46.

A tad disappointing to drive over the hill and see no white caps on the lake at all, so I opted to stop at the club and get out the raceboard for a quick run in Griffins bay. Could have used a bigger rig but only had the short board kit. Anyways was still a fun sail with the mast track right back.

GW-60

Lunch time/Arvo sesssion with Old silver Fox and Dezza, Some sweet runs to Berkeley with Dezza while Old Foxy did short runs near the jetty.

Speedster 118 + NCX 6.5 then TURBO GT 7.5 + UFO FIN 30/50 custom = comfortable session just needed that little bit more of a sea brezze  just a little Cool or the EVO 9's

FOIL

Quite nice conditions at the end of the day for the foil - a bit gusty as per normal NE. I wound back the change to the stabiliser angle by about half and this felt better - easier flight and better balance on the board, although it took me about half an hour to feel in the groove. I'm convinced that the back foot straps are not in the correct position so I think I will take them off for the next session.

Focused on trying to get a foiling gybe - getting closer. It seems that fast footwork and a reasonable pre-gybe speed are essential.

Good fun - learning all the time.Cool

Nice shots Marco, yeah Bushy the raceboard has been a bit neglected lately, but it's hoping to make a comeback tomorrow😄
