Wind was 25 gusting to 30 knots so I decided to give it a go with 6.3. It was ebbing and ramps were huge, basically impossible to go fast in front of Access Beach so I sailed to Sherman Lake to catch some flat water. It was flat there but not as strong wind, probably 22-27 knots at best. It felt way underpowered on 6.3. After about one hour of trying to catch the gusts wind was starting to slow down and it was time for lunch break...
Later, it started flooding and wind slowed down some more, just right for casual 1 hour attempt on 115 and 7.8. It turned out ok considering that I had to jibe 39 times, sail around 20 kiters and dodge the weed all the time.
100 kilometers of sailing today. I am ready for a few days of recovery
