After being underpowered last couple of sails and wanting to try new sail again I rigged 96/6.1. Wind was strong for sail size but amazed at stability 4-batten sail shows when I would have been happy on 76/5.2. Not as fast as more freeride designs but easier to sail as it softens any gusts and lighter in gybes. Yesterday showed it's light wind performance and today it's top end. Also tried with 86l board and good to see that can handle big sail though I set mast foot too far forward; about half way as usual would have been better. Used K4 2x14 asymmetric side fins fro extra area for big sail and board seemed sow but that might have been as hard to power up as wind increased even more.
Good fun in chop and riding down a few small wind swells out to sea. Did some nice gybes in flat water close to shore. Did rig 5.2m but did not use as wind eased so out on 6.1m again. Tried a jump but knee twinged so no more of that, otherwise would have been 5*
