Who says size doesn't matter, 1cm less fin and an extra 2 knots. Ran the same gear last week with the 33 fin and max speed was 35.2, today 37.2 on 32cm Vector Volt. Great 1 hour session with fire fighting aerial tankers landing in front of me scooping up water for 4000 acre blaze nearby, amazing sight.

Here's one of the aerial tankers from a few days ago.

The fire in the Gorge near where we sailed today flared up with the strong easterly winds this evening. The I-84 freeway, the main road through the area, is closed and many homes evacuated. Here's what it looks like from the launch site tonight.

RE: Eagle crest fire: all this because some idiot teenage boy thought fireworks in a tender dry forest would be a good idea Frown.

Nice speed Roo for 32cm. fin. What we can see if you go on 23cm?

It is not good news about the fire.
