Sailed with Al Short today, good to see you again Al.

Great to finally get out on the new 2018 FF 114, Warp 7.0 and SLM 35Z. Wind didnt really happen but the gear didnt dissapoint. Got there too late and missed the best wind. Temperature dropped to 7.0 and apparent temp -1. I Had been working outside all day and didnt really feel like it was freezing cold UNTIL. Forgot to put my gloves on and once I got on the water it was too late. Gotta say the pain in my finger tips from the cold was off the scale. Came in after just under an hour and had to walk in about 500mts because I could not feel my fingers and hold onto the boom. Forgot my old guy rule of thumb and that is dont sail unless its over 10 degrees and wear your gloves YOU IDIOT..... Fingers are still hurting 3 hours later
