Tried my new Fanatic Blast 100 today. Used my 6.6, but it was a bit small for today. Gusty wind, with times where everyone was standing waiting for the next gust, but still great to be sailing.
The Blast is such a fun board to ride. Planes early, feels fantastic underfoot and gybes like a waveboard. You can really crank it as tight as you want.
As soon as I hopped on this board I instantly loved it.

1st sail for 6 weeks due to arm injury to left biceps tendon, & possibly my worst effort ever at Peel St. Got caught out at Buff Point when I went in to alter mast foot position with a SW/SSW wind shift and drop in strength so I was never going to be able to sail it back so I walked it about 3/4 of the way back to 7th Ave. If ever I was going to kark it from a heart attack it was then.....luckily I made it back in reasonably OK but feeling rooted. Thanks to Matty, Norm and Pugs for their concern.
HSM 7.3 JP 108 + 21 Delta that couldn't get through the very thick weed, oh well at least my arm went OK.
