Choco (14530km): Fun day, blowing when I was rigging but back off before I got out, never used the 5.6 before and wanted to get it tuned ahead of any future road trips, in the gusts and through the chop it was rock solid, 6.3 or even 7m would have been ideal glad I used it though. Tricky Bogan (21417km): Early start to launch Jason at Parham rigged the 5.6 Loft RB way under done but the forecast was for 28-30knts only got 17 -22 Isonic85 23 Gun weedie. Was alonng walk but was a great recon sail. Will be back better prepared! Then dashed home dropped of the dog & headded to Join Hoppy & Carl at Stansbury rigged the 6.3 Loft Isonic 85 & 28 Lessacher Weedi was a bit worn out by then but a great catch up sail. Captain skip bogan (50090km): Great arvo sesh with Tricky and Hoippy at Stansbury. Not quite the 20 to 25 forecast but still had fun. Wind was mainly 15 to 20 with a couple of 23 knot gusts. Nice sailing in clean salt water for a change and had some fun bearaways almost into the deep blue sea . Great to catch up and thanks for the beer Hop. Stansbury - 15 to 20 knots southerly Patrik 87 / 6.3 gun sails GSR / Black Project 31 weed speed. PS keep us in the loop when you head to Port Parham again Tricky . |
