Didn't expect much but ended up a great big gear sail. Very up and down breeze and water like a hot bath. Vintage Formula, 58cm fin, 7.5 Ezzy Lion.

Nice session at the Island with the mob, 15 to 20ish all day. Finally convinced my bro to get back on the water and strap on a GPS, luckily he didn't thrash me, so he can borrow my gear again!

Used Isonic 90, Overdrive R8 7.0 and Tribal SW 29Cool

First up, a sensational day on the Island. We are on the board, with a great team turn out. Kel, Binny, Boxy, Andrew, Mandy, Ian, James and finally Ian (but by no means least). 15-20 all day. After trashing my 7.5 T4 a couple of weeks a go, I was left with my HSM GPS 7.3. Decided to pull it out and have a red hot crack. It failed, in an unusual way. Finally put the effort into giving it a bit of downhaul, which lightened it up incredibly. What i wasnt anticipating was the power. Talk about ripping the skin of a cold custard. My god, it cranked - to the point of scary. Cams rotated well, up on the plane in seconds. Very powerful sail and there ends the praise for today. It was scary fast. I literally felt sick in the guts. I came in and changed down to my much more sedate and maligned 6.5 T4.

Awesome to see the lads out on the water today. Plenty of fully charged gopro's to go around, so there should be some nice footage. Spent plenty of time out in the water taking video and will put it all together this week.

Used - HSM GPS 7.3/6.5 T4, CA 108, 40 C2

Great way to spend the day sailing off GI with the Mobsters.  Super fun had by all!

More practice on the water starts had today - did not uphaul once!!...  although there were a couple of curses at times Surprised

Enjoying getting more comfortable on the new board.  Condition wore out in the end...Yell

Super effort for the distance today Ian!!!

Had a great sail with the team out at GI.  The Weather Gods looked promising as did the tides.  Decided to rig the Severne Turbo 6.5 single cam and this was spot on with Atomiq120lt.  Had a great couple of hours playing on the speed run.  Then told Ed the whole story on the way home just to rub it in... Planning a sail at Port Douglas tomorrow arvo to make the most of this Christmas Gift.

Binny, I think Kel should be just a tad scared. If that was the standard, 6 years between drinks, WOW, there is some wonderful things to come. It was a pleasure watching you at work.

Great to see Mandy back on the water as well. I pretty sure that is the first time in my time with the mob that I have sailed with you. Awesome stuff.

Boxy, awesome effort mate. Get your sailing fitnes back and you will soon be punching out some nice long runs.

Awesome day with the rest of the team. Hope to catch up in the near future at a wind swept water playground. Merry Xmas to all.
