My personal tradition is to go sailing on Boxing day, since my first sailboard was a Christmas present and the first chance I got to use it was boxing day. I've been sailing boxing day about 30/34 times. 

I didn't hold much hope for this session, 8kt max when I hit the water, but I had the foil and a 7.7m TRX so figured it was a good opp to try bouncing onto the foil. Well., I did end up foiling right across the bay at the approach to the runway, made a few 10 sec flights in some big swell, then had a knock and wind shift on the way back and nearly missed kurnell, but the wind picked up and I could foil around upwind and made it back. Bit scary in some of the big gusts with a 7.7 sheeted in about 50%.
