Melville Beach, WA, AU

Cruisy afternoon on the river, lots out even Tim the Pink sail man was out screaming and sliding down the speed run. Usual suspects all taking advantage of some great weather. Even though it was windy there were still quite a few holes and you had to pick the run. One big wipe out for me on an outside jibe when my foot slipped of the board amazing no damage to body or gear, probably a first for me. The boys were still out Tim, Lunny, Jase, Andrew when I left so some good numbers should be coming through as they were smashing out the jibes on the outside bank and Tim was going to bring out his small board to put us all to shameCool

That was gusty but fun. My forearms were really feeling the strain. Saw a couple of blurs surrounded by spray that I think were Nick and Tim.

Good to get out after the festive festival of fun. Good conditions by melville standards, but only played over the shallows of the sandbar. Great to see quite a few Pinnas out enjoying the conditions and watch the stoke of Jase smashing out a 35 plus pb.

Fun little fang around in the late arvo at Melville.

Mr Mum duties kept me off the water til 5, but found a few nice gusts before it shut down around 6.30.

Melville Beach, WA, AU Woohoo a PB, stoked. To be fair the 2sec was a flash in the pan and I was more in the 33-34 zone. One gust came along right at the end of a bear away and lifted me so I thought I was going to be catapulted but I just accelerated then immediately hit a wind shadow and stopped dead. It was very weird but that's melville. A tops sunny day and company of fellow Pinnas burning about. Good to finally meet Lunny and catch up with Tim and Andrew. Glad to hear your stack didn't wreck your ankle Boz. The 6.6 was a real handful today and gybes were all good on the entry but on the exit I had a lot of trouble sheeting back in and getting back in control. Just getting into the foot straps was a full mission.

Whoo Hoo Rob! Verry nice. Not too far behind the pros. Good speed for a large board too

Craig - slick alpha and nm for Melville

Wow, Jase! Mr Speedy! Just a smidgeon off top speed of the day, and a better 2 sec than Lunny, who wasn't even on his foil. That's good going.

A very nice alpha too.

Great PB's Rob and Jase. Was a gusty day and not easy to get PB's so makes your PB's so much sweeterCool
