I missed the Tarwin Race at Inverloch today. I slept in and they started earlier than I had anticipated. Probably just as well, as I would have gone on the Formula and those that didn't take a raceboard really struggled to just get upwind to the marks in the wind shadows. At least the windsurfers beat all the boats this year! 15-17 knots in the clear, and 5 knots or less behind the sand hills. Well done to Naz and Kato.
Wind was dying at Invy so I went back to Sandy Pt. When I got there the tress were swaying a bit so I went stright to the inlet and after much deliberation (Formula and 8.4m or 110 Slalom and 7m???) i chose the slalom board and 7m Koncept. Right choice. Had a nice fun little blast in a SW to WSW around 15-16 knots, with a few slightly stronger patches were the wind comes between the dunes.
