Lilacs, Albany, WA, AU

Koncept 6.2, Sonic 85L + FF20 and later CA44 + Tribal Superweed 21

Add yesterdays water level to todays wind and it would have been awesome!

Had hoped to have go at some Alphas but the tide was too low & at the town end I could feel the tugs, quite agressive at times, on the way in & as soon as I flipped the rig the weed would practically stop me. Best couple of Alphas were at the Kiters end, of which there were numerous jumping about.

On the Sonic I could get 33knot 2sec so for the last half hour I had a bit of run on the CA44 for the first time in a while. Definitely faster with a couple of 35's & all but one of the 5x10 from that little part of the session. It was a real slog though to get through the weed at the town end.

We've had the right tide one day & the right wind the other, would be nice to get both tomorrow!

Boggy Lake, SA, AU

SSW 14-20 knots-FF111-Simmer 7m-Select 37.5cm

Really sweet session, nailed 90% of all gybes planing, up the top was just sweet.

Mike, Evan and a few others. One guy in particular was blasting past me on a more current Fanatic of ssimilar size. Shane showed for a late session:-)

The Train, Southport, QLD, AU  Waihau 90, North Idol 5.3 JP 36 slalom

I've got the 3 days sailing in the wrong order.  Saturday....southerly front came through after breakfast and gusts in the high 30's. A consistent 30 knots on the water meant that my only sail option wa the North 5.3 but this was too much.  Tides were good but knee high chop surrounding the Train's central strip. i could see all sorts of misfortune  coming my way and i am so unbelievably unfit....arms like overcooked asparagus spears. Pathetic stamina. Need much more TOW.  Home to safety.

Wazza that still seems a big fin - I am getting the feeling that you have decided to cut down on the stress of rig / fin combos by only having just one damn big fin :-)
