Rathmines, NSW, AU. 4.8  Hucker 90 Naish. Nothing special in the way of speed but bump and jump on this kit is my favorite sailing. Wind was very up and down but i didnt care.

Hope the speedsters kick it again.

10-23kts SSW Buff Pt Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU

 5.7m OD - 80ltre isonic - 16cm kestrel

Just what I needed. A bit underdone all day but after yesterday I was happy to be comfortable. By myself the first hr or so just worked up to deeper water to do some gybes. Not enough wind for bearaways although I tried.

Then Andrew came out and it came in a bit then died. I sat around on the board waiting for some wind for a bearaway in but it didn't happen so headed in in about 10kts until I hit the chop and then it came in at 20kts..Yell

Had lunch watching the others flying around then back out 15-23kts..I don't know where they get their wind from.. They are planing along on speedboards on 6.6m sails in 10-15kts of wind!Undecided

Did a few bearaways and some felt ok but lousy speeds- never got a long enough gust. Learnt that if I did a planing gybe in the shallows but left both feet just behind the mast on the exit I could not hit bottom and keep going.Smile Enjoyed doing some gybes.. One day I'd like to get  a nm without a gybe in it! Yell

Good to seee Sue & Glynn , Matt , Andrew, Andrew H, Pugs, Bruce  and assorted other bods..

Lucky I had the radio on as an accident on the freeway and all the western side of the lake was a carpark. Headed home  via the top of the lake and sugarloaf- 2hrs instead of 50mins. Chokker all the way up the eastern side of the lake but at least it was moving. Warned Gareth to let everyone know so i hope you got home ok.

.Boy I love rural roads with no cars..Cool

exocet RS2, S2 venom 7, BP Kestral 18

started very light and got better started looking very nice but I had to go to work.

I enjoyed another flat water blast so easy jybing and happy with an alpha in those light conditions.
