Lake Tinaroo, QLD, AU

Nice little arvo up at Tinaroo. Caught up with the The Legend himself - Herby Halloran, at the waters edge, which by the way is way lowwww!!! Usual wind readings for Tinaroo 0 - 20 knts, all in the space of 20 metres. Me little mate Boxy couldnt be coaxed out, so with the lads and lasses at Meteye still predicting a reasonable arvo I decided to take the chance. Well worth the drive and the chat with Herb, who, by the way is looking awesome. Cycling 30km's a day and swimming. CHAMPION.

Thanks guys. What I can report is that there is some very large match sticks just sitting under the water. There is quite a narrow lane way (200m wide) to stay away from the timber and the sailing club has marked any potential hazards as they show up with large white bouys. It is definately safer to sail from Platypus camp ground, but the breeze was too southerly yesterday. Otherwise, a very nice arvo was had.
