Coal Point, NSW, AU. 6.6 Hucker 110 Naish. Just a great fun sail in near perfect conditions (wind was a bit up and down). Huge difference sailing Coalie with no boat traffic, nice and smooth with easy rollers coming through. One of the better sessions of the summer.

18-25kts SSW Canton Beach, NSW, AU

87ltre isonic - 33makani - 6.2m OD ( 100m)

 then 8oltre isonic - 24cm FF- 6.2m

 Fun fun fun!!!Tongue outTongue out

Best sail I've had in ...I can't remember...

2nd go of the 80ltre. I decided I was over trying to gybe in 17cm of water and wanted some long runs where I could use a good fin. Too lumpy for me for decent speed ( 6-10" cross lumpy stuff)..

Treid the 87ltre but decided it was too big for the choppy conditions so went the 80 and thought i'd see how the FF went.

 What a fantastic combo!

I had trouble with the fin sliding out occasionally ( easy to get back in) but hwen I checked it doesn't fit as flush on that board and I had a major weed mou hanging in there.. Kept an eye on it and minus mou the fin was rock solid in the lumps even really powered up and the combo just flew upwind.. I usually  find it hard to get back up to the start but I ate it up today and the board just skittered over the chop..Tongue out

Did lots of nms..First one I didn't know the board or trust the fin and a bit nervous but as the day progressed I got into it and had a ball..picked up pretty strong after lunch and a bit hary on the  nm.s.. Crouched really low hanging on and my rear leg was aching by the end..

Decided to quit as it turned more S.

FANTASTIC!Tongue out Happy with that 2 sec considering the conditions..good for me..Smile

Wayne. Paul x 2, Michael , Andrew from DD's, and a few others with a couple of kiters at one stage..

I've got to get a 24cm FF and an 18cm...Love to get a whole lot but I've  got to stop spending $,..Embarassed

Yeeha Sue :-) That is a nice distance day and almost the best hour to boot. I am stoked you got a good long lumpy session to try out the FF. Smiles on the dials 😁 ( oh and feel free to take the angle grinder to the box section so that the fin slides in easily and sits flush)
