PD SL87 / R8 OD 5.7 / Vector Delta Weed 27

Big NE pumping through SP today with some crazy chop to manage. Tried something different with a starboard tack bear-away towards the shallow. Seemed to work well for me but with the amout of chop (due to the high tide), I wasn't overly keen to continue...

Great Gustbusters turn out today with Dezza, Brenden, Tricky, the Captain and our own poster fly-boy Floody making a welcome return!

97/7/ufo34, the n 80/5.7/ufo24 then 5.2/keef 22

man that was windy today, so much so I had to open my big handbag and pull out the 5.2, holy moly. Started with an hour of personal fitness training, was very powered up on the 7m, fell in a couple of gybes and then again when trying to look at my watch, so a bit surprised to get a reasonable result against what Ive done before, tiny bees thingy and all that. Came in to change to 5.7 and Captain offered a sip of his latest peebee juice straight out of the lab this morning, this is a rocket fuel version! Felt a bit funny for a while then came right and went for a run on the 5.7, but waaay to much so changed to 5.2. Had a look up in speed canals, couldnt get going today so decided to call it a day. A great team day and in our new team tshirts, thanks very much BD!

Sanctuary Point, NSW, AU a bit on the wild side 25 to 30knts  with high tide on the speed strip at 1.00pm rigged the evo 5.4 and naish 80sp and 19cm weed fin , after 3 runs came in for a sail download and fin change , hit the speed strip and tide dropped and flattened out , no great speeds and only short runs but i would call it one of the better days

Used a Starboard Carve 90L, 5.25 Naish Nalu, changed down to a 4.5 NP Zone for a couple of runs. Fins used included a Hypersonic Weedy 26 cut down to a 24 and a Drake Freeride 24.

Session started with a nice 17knots at 1100 and increased during the day to have gusts up to approx 30knots.

Peanut (Liam) (1310km):

thanks Maree, I find the hour a hard one to get on the right gear for the whole hour, but hopefully I can get it better during the year

a couple of pics from today:

Modelling our new tshirts - Tricky, BD and TP outside our (temporary) team clubhouse. Missing the captain (sorry captain you were still up on the weed) and a few other teamies not there today, hopefully we can get a full team turnout soon

First taste of the Captains new peebee jucie, a right firecracker

Woooo, everything went dizzy and round after that, heavy duty stuff Keef Laughing
