Jervois Bay, * Race foil, M1 7.8 DG 91, Got invited to race with the kites and cats again today. 3 races started at 15 knots built to gusty 20knt at the end. 

Great fun, a few more crashes today. To busy looking around at lay lines and playing with my watch. Need to focus more :)

Bottom of the course was getting very rough by the end.

Should have been on the 7.8...spent a lot of time floating in the gusty conditions. Thanks for the loan of the fin Jay...it's a winner!

Interesting afternoon sailing the pylons with a few mermaids, butterflies and racers.

I tried to hold off rigging today until the wind really came in, then I thought if I don't rig now I will miss out.

I should have waited & enjoyed the smooth water later in the day

Still nice to get wet & listen to the PSS taking the PSS afterwards

Not feeling so flash today after a big night last night

Straight off today I crashed gybing when a footstrap gave way.

That sorted & spent the rest of the time sailing like a gumby, 2nd day in a row

Reflex 8 7.8, Mistral 112, Weedspeed 35. Really hard to get any speed today- felt underpowered most of the time then when it all came together, there were at least 5 other sailors in the way. Oh well, not a bad way to spend an arvo.
