Pleasant sail at the local, wind not as strong as yesterday but a heap of fun cruising down to cott and up to leighton. I got to time the wind a bit better, same as yesterday wind strongest on the upwind leg and then dropped for the naughty run, kept going further out to see if a bit more wind was on the outside but not to be. Final 40 minutes pacing with Shane AUS14 heaps of fun going out accross the chop, we nearly both forgot how far out we travelled but was so addictive chasing down the swells.

Awesome fun on the big kit at Peli today, powered up and flying on the M137 + 8.4 TR8 + 44 Volt combo Cool

I almost love sailing in these conditions more than when it's windier, cos the chop is not so unruly (I got my best speeds in the middle of the river where the pressure was best).

Tacked up to Majestic Point towards the end of the sesh hoping for one last big bearaway and a crack at a naughty, but the breeze dropped and I ended up slogging back downwind.

My mate wanted to know what this speed sailing caper is all about. I grovelled around for a bit and then gave him the GPS. These pathetic numbers are from the time when I was wearing it. I then spent another 12 km looking for a free camera. Hopefully I can lure him to the dark side of windsurfing.

Foil sess in a nice 18 knot breeze. More practice downwinding the small swells and riding tiny waves. Huge fun Laughing

Lunny, I love your enthusiasm for sailing.

Pointman, impressive dedication to chasing speed even on a moderate wind day.

Coodanup again, Rob? You are racking up the k's driving there so often. Fangy will be thinking you fancy him. You are making it a bit easy for your friend introducing him to the GPS at Coodanup - should have made him work for a good speed at Melville first.

Thanks for looking for the camera Rob. You may be elevated from the lowest levels of peasantry (Untouchables) that the Pinarroos generall enjoy...
