Enough east in it for a few long runs, but the swell and chop in the lower half of the bay was a bit scary to run over at any kind of speed. Flatter water obviously up in the lee side of the runway, and still more than enough wind in there to keep fully powered up with the 6.2; water a bit brown, but less rain today than originally forecast.
The RS3/ERD combo handled amazingly. Honestly this board and fin seem to have no concept about resistance! A fast slippery feel, yet stable through the swell and chop, keeping a nice flat level trim. It's been enjoyable sailing more often on a smaller board - about time
