With the sniff of a NNWester headed down to Boombas early for the first time in a long time. The Fangman was going to be available after the school run so I messaged him when I got there but he was already queing outside David Jones to upgrade his polyester blouses with some silk ones fter loosing so much respect with the Bazooki from us lessers.
Now it appeared I was going to be sailing alone I put on all my safety equipment and put my mobile in a waterfroof pouch and headed out.
My sail and board choice was perfect but a FF26 would have been better in the lighter winds. My version of it should be finished by the end of the week I hope. As I was on my tod I stayed in the first bay but was tempted to venture further. Even so the runs were still quite long with only small chop and minimal weed. I saw several small sharks cruising around and none of them seemed to want to get out of the way and I nearly cleaned one of them up. I was hoping to sail till about 12 but unfortunately the wind was turning and on my last run out if I had sailed across the wind I would have been sailing almost strait out from the shore into deep water and as my back up was otherwise occupied I called it a day.
Good to get back to my kingdom of Banjo playing inbreds.
