Andrew Haigh (48951km): Coal Point, NSW, AU Caveman 75, 6.6 retro Another pleasant foiling session. Wind a bit up and down Byron, Sue, Scott and Tony who went home in discust due to lack of wind. Byron had a blast on my foil and of courses looked fairly proficient straight away. I tried his Falcon 114 with 8.4 and 39cm fin. I don't know how hw can sail it!

sboardcrazy (24363km): 5-14kts S - SSE Coal Point, NSW, AU 7.5 Gt turbo - RS4 (111ltres) - 43cm makani weedy ( 1st go) Well that was better than expected..Stuff all in front of Coal but a few gusts in Belmont bay so we all went over there to play..More practise getting going down a wave and trying to keep going. I've finally got a fin that I can trust - yay! It spun out once but I think that was rider error..At least now when I'm powered up I can try and use the power. Seemed to be more SSE at Belmont and turn more SSW at times at Coal. Byron , Scott , Andrew ( foil) and a cameo appearance by Lyds. It was nice to have others to sail with. Coming back from Belmont one time Byron was 50m above me , Andrew 50m below and Scott 50m below him all slogging waiting for a gust . Pretty empty lake so that was nice. | ||||||||||||||||||
Byron Mcilveen (63644km): Coal Point, NSW, AU fanatic 114, S2 venom 8.4, seect V max 39 didnt look good it is amazing how early it gets going both sail and board. going in the same strength as the foil. You need an 8.4 in light wind like this I still have one for sail if anyone is after one, Had a go on Andy foil only second time ever on a foil prety happy only fell in once and was foiling ok only got 21 knots out of it and it was sqeeling big time. Thanks Andy |
