Great sailing today with usual suspects!! Consistant wind, considered going in and rigging the 7 a few times. Glad you got back out Troy.

Old gear but had a blast. Fin never let go once.

Only day I could get away from work early - hit the water with Keeness himself at 1.30. Did 3 runs - was a far way out the back and my uni snapped - only replaced it befor this season.

Managed to sail all the way back in on the strings.

Had a spare uni in the car but of course no tools to replace it with. And of course I didn't bring all my gear like I should always do cause than I would have had a spare base with me.

Thanks to all there who tried to help but to no avail. So I derigged and just as I was packing up Pete the saviour turned up and insisted he would go and grab his allen keys from home. But he had a great idea to hit up the $2 shop at Birkdale fair and bought 2 sets of allen keys for $5. Did the trick. So I have them in my car now if anyone is looking for some when I am there.

Got back on the water about 3.30. Have only posted the second session - first session was only 13km's. Missed the best of conditions but still a good arvo. Bit underdone on the 6.5.
