Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU 8-15kt N-NNE || 118 Manta/RS3, 7.8OD, 40Gun/22XT

Light to moderate, sailed in the morning. Started out on the large gear with some nice long runs back and forth across the deeper part of the lake - relatively smooth in the lighter breeze. It started picking up a bit, so I grabbed the 100L and headed for the flats but it died pretty quickly. Kicking again by the looks of it this arvo - looking good for those who can still get out there.

Hey just a question, has anyone tried a regular tuttle box fin in a deep tuttle box board? Are there any negatives to doing this (besides obviously needing longer fin bolts)?

Kyeemagh, NSW, AU

Warm, sunny, boardies and rashie,n cruisy - too much fun

Good crew out having a blast in easy conditions

Patrick 128, 8.6m OD and 45cm VMax.  Pretty good sail in light conditions, with Rod, Wineman, whilst trying in vain to keep up with Justin and Rick.  Kyeemagh, NSW, AU

Just longer bolts Andrew. You can add a shaped block between the bottom of the fin and base of the board/box to fill the gap. Nice tracks,

Thanks D, only a short sail but had fun.

Not sure they were that straight, I think they may have been smoothed out Laughing
