Nice day with lots of familiar faces, sunny and windy. Last time I used the 7.0 my RDM extender bended due to the forces at 40cm extension, so today I tried a 460 mast with 10cm extension. The sail was much more nervous (the sail didn’t open as normal and was pumping all the time) and I couldn’t get the speeds I was hoping for. Tuesday with the same board and fin and 7.8 I did approx. the same speeds in much lighter wind as today with 7.0… Tried different settings (downhaul, outhaul, fin, boom position) but nothing helped. Next time again the recommended 430 mast with 40cm extension. Any advice on strong and long RDM extenders which can withstand the forces of a race sail?

Anyway it was a nice day on the water !!!

Eindelijk nog eens op het water. Gelukkig had ik de RRD FSW bij, want met hoogwater en Westenwind, geen slalom omstandigheden op de homespot. Leuke sessie!

The new evoX is just out of this world...

Great session, mostly sailed at Gdam. Went upwind with Paul to our friends at Herkingen. Quickly did some runs and @500m's, and went back.

Max speed in the chop at Grevelingendam: 66,12 and 10s run 63,17km/u, very happy with that!!
