With the cold water temperatures, the wind is still very hard to predict, with the best wind usually limited to an hour or less at somewhat random times of the day. Near shore, the wind was weaker than the meter showed, but stronger near the channel and towards the far shore. Probably would have been a decent session at the Kennedy Slicks, but the boss wanted to go to Kalmus (and then sat in the van after going out just as the wind was lowest, and not being able to plane on her 5.2). | ||||||||||||||||||
