Fabulous Friday.
Some breakthroughs today with a new, lower harness, low boom, rearward mast base and finally, my 2 sec monkey is off my back. Looking forward to some flatter water next time to really let loose!

Big crew out, nearly parking on the street. Wind was great but water state was a bit too choppy most of the time. Looks like it filled in even more after I left. Saving some energy for tomorrow!!

Long session today and great to see so many on the water. Wind was very on and off early but as the wind became more consistant in the afternoon so did the chop. Spent a lot of my day testing three new fins up against my reliable 20cm G10 weedy. All very different designs, all very different on the water.
5.8 evo7, 46cm speedboard Neil, two 18cm and one 21cm carbon weed fins, 20cm G10 weed fin.

Fun day with heaps of sailors out. The wind was a bit patchy around midday but generally the 5.5m sail was spot on for the day.
I found it quite uncomfortable on the speed board due to the chop, and therefore slow to dial in.
After lunch break I decided to get out the Kode - a barely used board in my collection. It was a lot faster than I thought it would be, and of course handled the chop very well. A lot more fun than the speed board!
