Glory Holes, Australind, WA, AU

thought about the trip up for some flat water at mandurah but decided that i hadnt scared the crap out of myself lately

so ended up sailing the local.

surprised to even get over 30 as was not very comfortable at all.

Fangyland - Creery carpark end.  Big winds, big tide, big challenge. I thought I would try and play with the big kids today. I got beaten up and my head stuffed down a dunny and flushed.

Or in other words, too fat and too scared to do anything other than stand on the back of the board and grovel back in. I am pretty sure this is in my Top Ten worst posts ever.  Kudos and Big respect to the lads who made it look easy.  And good to meet the Busso boys at last. Laughing

A nice winters sail with lots of good company out enjoying the wind.  Was having fun running along the bank trying to time the gusts. Some sunshine, some heavy squalls and a few rainbows.

Most wind I have ever sailed in! Some of those gusts that came through at the end were huge and made me completly overpowered on the 5.7 with the 66ltr speed board. No flat water today though so couldnt do anything with all that power but it was fun trying.

Fab work John and Paul. It was great to see you guys doing some runs down the bank - something to aspire to Cool

Evets, there was a time today when doing distance behind a desk was looking a waaaay better option.Laughing
