scarrgo (8964km): Majestics pretty rubbish day, only positives was work got canceled and got a sail in Went down to rockingham in the morning to try catch a sail with Ryan and Darryl before I was ment to go to work at lunch, there was no wind at all and so there was just alot of hot air floating around down there in the car park. Just as I was about to leave got the call that I need not worry about going to work which I was quite pleased about but as there was nothing happening decided to head back local and make my way to the river in the afternoon was heading to foilville but saw Darryl again at majestic with a handfull of kitefoils having a good yarn so had to drop in and see what the gossip was after a bit of chit chat it was decided that we should all not be so slack and get on the water despite the abscence of any significant breaze ended up having plenty of company on the water with 7 windsurfers/windfoils out and 4 kites I think, but I don't believe any of the windsurfers other than myself and Darryl got moving we all stayed out till dark hoping for some wind but it never came good to see some enthusiastic windfoil learners out trying to clock up thier hours derigged in the rain was good minimum speed foiling and foil gybing practice today always very comfortable on this foil and board combo, definately got it sorted now 7.7 warp, 135 JP HF, NP F4 with the big wing |
