Naish SP95 Replica

Vector Volt with Roodents

GW60

River water has hit 60 degrees F so bikini, or in my case mankini time! Water level 10 feet lower than a few weeks ago and not much current. Makes for a different dynamic with the chop so no smooth areas for jibing near the white salmon bridge anymore. Had another chance to test the Roodents, cheeky little buggers are going to need some detailed analysis. Essentially they create an assymetric fin, on the wrong tack they load up quickly and spin out...really hard to correct so you have to sail them very front foot. On the right tack they hook up and are spinout proof until they hit Vmax, all of a sudden it lifts the tail of the board up and pushes the nose down. Will have to try some different sizes to see what effect they have and their speed range. Going to be a fun summer testing the variations.

Roo, for certain sailors (you), this appears that it would be a heap of fun testing/riding these fins. For other sailors (like me) it would be one continuous spingout/catapult session. Embarassed . Fortunately, you are willing so slackers like me can continue to cruise (once I get healthy enough to get back on the water... ) .

Hi Anita, sent you a PM. My idiopathic orbital inflammation is getting another round of biopsy/pathology diagnosis as the last year of treatment has had no positive results.
