Teralba, NSW, AU

Falcon 114, S2 venom 7.7 and 7 , select v max 37

very up and down so hard to sail and imposible to tune sails and board one day we will get steady wind. still super stoked to do over 36 in rough water on such a big board it cranks.

iSonic 90, 7.0 TRX Fangy 20cm fin.

Typical day at Budgie - Huge forecast - very little delivered - Milsy cruising round making it look easy - me dogging around on a board that is too small - Lyds stirring up whoever was in the car park - Bruce going home 5 minutes before the wind arrived and Sue doing her thing with the ambulance hospital etc.

Thanks for fixing the board Byron.

Well I tried.. Peel st . Rigging , heart palps, wouldn't settle , ambulance , emergency for tests and observation..10 days till the op and then hopefully I'll be my normal self again..Undecided

It looked good as I was going..should have been a good day for everyone..

I usually use the 20ff in an 80ltre board with a 6.2m so it probably would have been too small with that combo especially in an on and off wind. How did it go?

I usually use an 18 Delta if its windy or a 20 kestrel if it is not. It felt quite good in the chop, I would have liked to compare it to the 20 kestrel but the wind was so patchy that it would have been very hard to do a comparison.

On my 36 knot run it felt very strange indeed. The nose of the board felt like it was glued to the water. I had the mast foot right at the back.

Weird..I  haven't noticed that.Maybe Fangy can suggest some reason..If you can try it powered up on smaller gear it will be even better..😊

Sue, since they finally got an ECG on you while you were in arrhythmia, did they find anything?

They didn't this time as they'd switched off 5 mins before the ambulance arrived..Undecided I've had one that did catch it plus I carried around a thingy for a month a few years ago.It caught heaps  so they know what it is.. Smile
