EVERYONE was out... been that long since we had wind. Gusty westerly...

First sail in 3 weeks and even though it was a typical gusty westerly, I had a ball. I channelled my inner 2 second princess today, waiting in the waist deep water near King island for the gusts.  There was a good turn out of wind deprived Moreton sailor's getting a long delayed fix.

First sail since Burrum so stocked to get out even though it was a westerly....  Good to catch up with all the usual suspects. Fiji next week so hoping the temperature should be a bit more civilised!

Bit cool so put everything on three layers in total.

Tries out my new Atan Kevlar boots but couldn't keep on the board  at first but they got better once the shine wore off. 

Very under done most of the time I should have rigged my 7.0

Brrrr cold today, hoped out of the car and almost turned around and went home .

Good fun sail on the eastern side pretty busy at first with all the kiters.

bit underdone most of the time.

First Run on the Patrik 92 very nice board, it sits nicely on the water and nice through the gybes
