Awesome foil session, a perfect 12-18, N to NW'er.

The 880cm2 kite wing is super forgiving and easier to use when the wind gets over 15 knots.

It does tend to bash the wave-tops a little heading out as it doesn't lift as quickly as the WS1 wing.

The 1220 cm2 WS1 wing turns a little quicker and easier to slow and de-power to ride the swells, so perhaps more fun overall.

Nice to have both to mix it up Smile

Remember me? I used to sail. I braved the arctic conditions to try our my new rig. I rigged up the 7.0 to see what it looked like and went out on the 6.0. The predicted tempest never eventuated but it was fun nonetheless.

JP Super Sport 100, 2018 Severne NCX 6.0, Enigma Carbon Boom, RDM Red 100% carbon mast, carbon extension and a new dooverie that screws into the board.

Interesting session at dutchies, first time in 18 months sailing on opposite tack in the ocean, hitting the waves and trying to control the board in the opoosite tack was a learning curve once again, started to get into the groove but the little 6.3 KAR sail decided it had enough and the bottom panel blew out so end to an interesting session. Good test for the Manta and the race sail in the conditions.

Stroppo, I drove past Foilville with some alcolholic beverages but everyone was gone. My feet were numb. I'm going to wait until things warm up before trying the foil lest I snap something

I got a bit more foiling time in today. Still not feeling very stable when flying (on both axes). maybe due to lack of speed Embarassed

Hadnt used the GPS watch a couple weeks so battery wasnt charged when I tried to turn it on.

Foilville seems to be getting more and more crowded with quite a few familar faces starting to foil.
