A bit wild at times... 6.3m 112 Tribal Carbon SL36. Pretty gusty to start with, hitting 37s out in the middle of the river in the gusts and high tide washing machine. Came in for a drink and changed fins to the Tribal sym speed 33 to see if I could eke out a bit more- the 36 was on the large size for 30kt gusts. On the way out was greeted with an advancing wall of spray ~1m high across the river- not rain. As it got closer it was clear that it was wind making that spray. Held on by some miracle and gybed over at Nedlands (another miracle) and it was all over by the time I got back. A few more bullets and some big squalls for some * clenchers before arms gave up. Good to get stretched! Pretty stoked with the way the smaller fin works when overpowered. So much control... Good fun.
