Goodbye July with a totally unexpected 20km of north easterly breeze on JB. Out with Nige and Chris (from Moss Vale) on his SB raceboard.

The breeze finally dropped and shifted to the NW. This bit was to be expected but it was great while it lasted. Love the long runs in JB. So nice on the big gear whilst fully powered up.

Good luck to those who ventured to Primbee. Hope that it delivered for you.

Sunday cruiser at primbee, wind was  light at first, just enough for the kiters but blowing strong up in the hills so there was hope it would come in and be worth rigging up. It didnt really fill in enough for the 5.5, but still some good runs in NW/W/SW directions with a couple of different keef fins fresh out of  maintenance. Just a small crowd for a Sunday but everyone having a good time. There was hacksawing of a big powerbox fin into a small powerbox fin in the carpark by one guy so he could get out in the shallow water, which seemed to work well for him and he looked quick, I think the Captain got him signed on the doted line to join the gustbusters.
