Old Salt (13613km): Great day on the water despite the gusts coming and going... good to sail with Dave, Stretch, SluGger and Lachy Tried out my new isonic which came from the east coast courtesy of Vando! Thanks mate.... Ive got some work ahead of me to do the board justice. I was very happy with a first run of 60 clicks.
Dave made me stay on the water way longer than old guys should, but the speed and conditions got better after the mobbers gave up! Zuls? WTF? we saw your car in the carpark but not on the water???? what happened?
I THINK STRETCH CHEATED TODAY Just sayin' (but read on)
He went out, nailed his top speed, came in, changed down boards before anyone warmed up..... and this caused the wind to bugger off!!!!! But still a legend Stretchy!! raising the bar as always
Overall, top day!

BSN101 (13401km): JPSL55 Tribal WS25JPSL66 Tribal WS29 NP Hellcat 5.7 Out with Steve SluGger Stretchy & Lachy. It was forecast to be glorious but it wasnt up to the forecast. BUT my god when the fronts came through we were SLAMMED (Fangy would have enjoyed). Funny enough that Lachy was leading the way as the lulls were quite long in duration, floaty board and a good sail choice. Then stretchy smashed out a lazy 39 before anyone had a chance to get their hair wet. For the rest of the time we were just trying to catch up. Sickly SluGger went out again against his wifes orders and well the rest of us had leave passes where required. The tide was falling infront of our 0eyes and the biggest problem was Stretchy aiming higher by switching to the CA Speed. yes the wind pissed off!! After the soft Mobbers called it a day Steve and i were in more familiar territory without anyone else on the water, just like at home on the bay. The wind was still a bit up & down but seemed to be more consistant and thus we continued to attempt a Stretchy worthy run. My best came on the JPSL66 (i will double check) and for me the extra float meant that my time was way more enjoyable. We had plenty of rests inbetween the heavy blows and then some great blasts off the wind getting nearer *& nearer to the sand bank. No mishaps for us today and my 10l bog job has held remarkably well (Ill show you how SoftFang). Eventually the cold got to us and we came off the water at 5pm. A good tough day had by all.
