foilville

haven't been on the water for a while so was pretty keen to get out there on a day with no rain and not any extreme weather and on a weekend

thought it was another good chance to get some time on my new hyperglides and as it turned out it was easy to pick the 10.0m as it was very light all afternoon

probably 3/4 of my sesh was in 6 to 8 knot with me on the foil maybe 50% of the time so interesting to keep learning about the bottom end of this gear but was getting a bit over it and tired before the wind came into about 12 knots and half a dozen moths got me a bit more interested again

did an upwind with the moths and I wasn't very comfortable with the change in breaze and couldn't seem to get a balance happening so was a little off the pace, but the downwind was awesome fun for a otherwise boring day. foil gybing battles with 6 moths in close proximity was great and while I felt very fast downwind my gybes were a bit sloppy think it was because I was a bit tired and still wasn't really comfortable with the gear

went to go upwind again and realised the body had had enough so called it a day

on the water from 12:45 to 14:15, so not that long but just shows how quick you can loose the match fitness

happy with the sail really is impressive the difference it makes for foiling but think some of my other setting changes upset some of the stuff I had right on it the first time I went out, plenty more tuning and learning to do

10.0 Hyperglide, 135 JP HF, Starboard Race foil
