Patchy 5-18kts NW Peel st Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU level c .26

7.5m Gt turbo - RS4 ( 111ltre) - 24FF

then 6.2m - 87ltre iso - 22cmFF

Got there at 9.30am cold overcast rain threatening bit of wind..Mark & Maree arrived a bit later and we decided to go socialise at Pete's..After lunch went back and a few puffs coming through so rigged big and went out in the chop with Pete and another guy. Very tiring , one minute buiggerall then a quick dash for the footstraps for the gusts ( unfit and unco..Laughing legs trembling and heart racing..).. Got it together a bit more at the end and a few powered up runs. ( got the 2 sec on this). It was starting to get to the top end of the gear so I came in. Norm was videoing and i had my pufferfish face going and look of 'holy crap' on.. should be interesting..Laughing

Bruce was out and a few others.Mark & Maree were heading out with what I thought were 6.2m on..  I considered the 6.6m but they seemed to be going well in the gusts so I rigged the same..a slow sail up to the top but by then it was all over.. I think I only got in the straps once..The 22cm FF was a bit big subplaning and bogging in the weed.

Still it was nice catching up ,to get a sail and have a few "interesting" runs..
