Holloways with Billy and Peter from Tassie. Wind was much less than expected and only had an hour because of prior engagements.

No comparison to yesterday but young Billy perservided and got a couple of runs after I had called it quits....dredging in the last couple of

hunderd meters to shore.....walk of shame back to the car.YellPushed the session today as there may not be any for a week.!!

Pity we did not have some good winds for Peter......but you never know!!

RRD 102 , KOYOTE 6.6, and yes 40 STING 2 FIN...my latest buy...second hand of course.

Holloways Beach, QLD, AU

We tried....and it was very trying. One last blast before these current trade wind's depart. Met Freddo and Peter Freeman (Tassie dude) at the Wallow Pit and it was a very pleasant 15 kts and the anger had disapeared out of the ocean. Our only issue was the cloud cover and true to form, it was very on/off for the next 2 hrs or so.

Spent a lot of time between gusty wind lines and in the end, gave it up. Also true to form was the lifting of the cloud cover and out came the sun 40 mins after packing up, which bought back in a very nice breeze. Fred took home the beans today - well done mate. I just couldnt get my fat bum going that well at all.

Good to hear you got out on the water AGAIN B1 & Freddo...  Looked at the tracks, would hardly call it a walk of shame Freddo- nowhere near the creek mouth!  Looked like it was only a small window of breeze today surprisingly.  Be interested to know what sort of gear Peter was using...

Let us all pray for some more breeze sometime soon!!!
