Flatchat (9962km): Pelican Point, WA, AU A short blast at Peli Pt. Got out there around 9am and wind was averaging 22 and gusting to 29 knts. Started on the 6.4m and seemed windy enough. Soon as I got on the water the wind started to ease off. Changed up a board size and eventually gave up. Would have stayed and rigged bigger but a parking inspector mysteriously appeared as my parking ticket ran out, all whilst I was grovelling back with 100m to go. Amazing as to how the wind seemed to be picking up again, as I was leaving and so was the parking inspector...huh..watta SB i87 & FF98, Evo5 6.4m, Tribal wsp 27& 29

Lunny (42007km): Windfoil, Majestic Pt, WA Woohoo, 30knots is possible on a foil Typical post storm gusts but there were some nice moments up the Melville end. Much less intimidating when theres no rolling chop to deal with but still a handfull for sure. Had quite a few good runs and it just feels so fast! Also had a few good stacks too when the gusts take over and make things really fly high JP Hydrofoil wood 135, KA race 5.5, Neil Pryde F4 small wing |
