Sneaky little late arvo sail today...  Conference call with Freddo while I was still at work just after 1pm- consensus was not enough wind around to bother...  Got home just before 2pm and had another quick look at the readings- wind had picked up enough to motivate me to gather the gear.  Called Freddo, who must have moved on to other things, so left a message then made my way to the beach to check things out.

The wind gods were kind enough today- must have felt sorry for me missing out on yesterday's GI trip... Laughing  On the water a bit before 3pm.  Just enough wind around to be planing most of the session on the Exocet 135 Severne 8.6 OD & 47.5 fin.  12-15kn E~ESE winds I reckon.  Really enjoyable sailing on a neapish tide with not to much swell.  Only hiccup today was the top 2 cams popped off the mast later on in the session.  Other than that, good fun had by myself & a couple of tea baggers...

Hopefully get another session in tomorrow arvo!

Beautiful sunny day at Green with Bindi and the kids. Wind was only 10 to 15 but consistent enough to pump on to the plane and stay there for most runs. 

Used, Isonic 107, Overdrive M2 Proto 7.8 and Drake DW 38Cool

Nice one Benny glad to see you got out on the water. And had a fun blast 👍. Cams can pop out sometimes if not enough down haul is used. Billy has got parts for that boom. I gave them to Andrew to give to Him yesterday as He left half his crap at GI yesterday and Andrew dropped it all off to him. Think he was sooking about his sort foot. 😩

Thanks Ed! Totally agree (in hindsight)- a touch more downhaul was key...  Was trying to rig to get the most power out of the sail today with super negative outhaul...  

B1 has msg'd me about the boom parts (many thanks Ed & Andrew), along with pictures of his sore foot...  I've told him I'll collect them by his bedside, with notice, so as he can arrange removal of the bedpan before I arrive Laughing  To be fair, the toe in question does look a little sore...

Would have been a sensational day on the Island Kel - sunshine, clear waters, water temp into the "Devine" reading and Family Smile

B2 - if your cams popped later in your session, maybe your down haul has also slipped???
