Quite a nice sail. Comfortably powered and on the plane 85% of the time. I tried a pointer for a change and the board definitely felt less glued to the water and got going earlier.. I spun out with weed a few times but it was pretty clear.
I've been trying to improve my stance and keep long arms and legs but something doesn't feel right.. I'm not sure if the harness lines are too long. I shortened them as much as I could and then just spaced them wider to get them a bit shorter but I didn't feel I could use my bodyweight properly against the sail. I also ended up with a sore lower back..
I might raise the boom a bit next time but if I keep getting back issues I'll go back to sitting as a gust hits as I never have issues with that technique..It could also be the harness as it's getting on. I've just replaced the spreader bar but I don't feel it gets as tight as it used to..oh well..
Only me at first then Craig.I had some lovely long runs..cripes the nm felt faster than 18kts! zzzzzzzzz tired now..At the end I could have used the 7m and 90ltre but I was too tired.
Not much boat wake so pretty good chop wise. I did cop one horrible patch of washing machine 3' moguls off the point.. A few boats had gone through and it had hit the shore and come back..ugh..I was glad to get through that..
