10-16kts NE Peel st Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU level c .24

 7m M1OD - 87ltre iso- 16.5cm FF ( cutdown 22)

 then 7m on the RS4 ( 111ltre) and 21.5cm FF ( cutdown 24)

Well I think Coal would have been more fun today but I had a rendevous with Pugs..Kiss Wink...I had to get the wettie I'd left behind last time - he'd been minding it..Smile Thanks Pugs!

Underigged...I really wanted another try with the 16FF..I wanted to sail the flats and they are pretty thick at the moment. It would have been ok except it was too patchy.. Off the plane a lot but the few puffs I scored in the flats were enough to keep me going. I didn't point very well but the wind was crappy and shifty and I was very underpowered. This time I screwed the front down properly and it was great in the flats..I avoided the really dense bergs but it cut through the rest without any tugs..

After an hour I came in and got the larger board. I haven't used the 21cm with the big board but it seemed to handle the 7m on it well. Easier to get upwind but the wind had died to 10-12kts with occasional 14kts so I really should have been on the 7.5m. Even that would have struggled to get me going..Undecided

The 21cm gave some bigger tugs through the flats but was ok.

Gareth ,Wayne, Pugs, me , Ray , Mike, then Mick , Milsy and Matt went out after. Boy underpowered sailing is hard work..zzzzzz sore tonight..

Noice! They are great shots Andrew. A very picturesque spot too. Do you have any of the foiling photos from one second later? Tongue out

Not gonna laugh cos I know that karma will come back like a loaded boomerang. Good to see Greg still makes a decent dent in the water tho'. Laughing
