Point Walter, WA, AU

Got down a bit late as usual expecting 6.2 weather but was well powered on the 5m. More windier and choppier than the other day here but found some flattish areas just off the jetty. Some 30 knot gusts at times made things interesting.

5m overdrive, 91 mistral, 27 curtis lockwood pointer. 3lt camelbak and 2kg lead.

Foil session in 20-28 knots - more wind than expected. Good to see Mark getting air-time in full-on conditions.

Nice wind-swells to ride downwind - bigger the chop the better Tongue out

Point Walter, WA, AU/Pelican Point

Cruisy sessionstarted bygoing upwind to Peli Point scoping flat water at Melville, just not enough breeze to make good of the flat stuff past the sand bank, sailedup topeli point had a chat with woody then headed back to point walter, fairly choppy windsup had the right idea and found the flat stuff at the end of the point, should have joined him as the middle was farlky choppy, caught up with mark and jj and a brief hello to ken. Finished the session at peli so packed up and thought I'd make the most of the easterly and went for a drive to Peli, couple of the boys out so rerigged and went for another blat, surprisingly in the middle there was some flattish water got the best speads there. Neil rocked up late and rigged so thought i'd keep him company on the water but by this time the rain had set in and the wind shut off. All in a pleasant day cruising the swan river.

Started off foiling after JJ kindly loaned me a setup. And of course it booted! Came back in before I had a big crash.

Changed to a "normal " board and had a blast. So good to be back on the water!!

Good to catch up with Boz and Windsup.

Bring it on.

Kenny excellent alpha and good speeds, Neil no scuff marksSealed second session at Peli draws a straight line from the previous location Point Walter when you turn off and turn on the watch again. Pity the wind didn't keep in there were some nice flat sections out in the river would have made for a good nautical mile amazing how the slightly differant direction in wind smooths out the river.
