Sans Souci, NSW, AU 12-24kt SSW || Exocet RS3/RRD 122, 6.2/7.0OD, 34 ERD/42 Raptor

A bit of a rough start - rigged a 7.8 at Bestic St and got smashed pretty much straight away - by a big spike into the mid to high 20s! Anyway got out of there quickly, packed up drove down to the River for another go, on the smaller gear for what ended a fun session. Low tide and much cleaner water than the last few days.

After a few runs on the RS3 changed to the bigger board and deliberately drifted down wind a bit towards the Bay  - been loving that part lately. Not quite like the famed speed strip further back upwind, but still very consistantly smooth and quite a long run back and forth. The bigger board helping the journey back up wind.

Was great to dust off the Raptor for a few runs - makes a really good combo with the RRD. Not too big and not too small. Nice to get it right with a fin! Fez, Connor, Tim and Kenny showing up for a late sesh.
