hoppybogan (25813km): Stansbury, SA, AU Light wind to start and a tight beat out to deeper water. NE direction i sailed from the boat ramp to the leases, across the bay on the slop. Was planing all the time but not fast. Could see a squall coming from the north with lightening and thunder approaching fast. The wind direction changed to NNE, N, and the wind picked up to 20-25. So i sailed the line inside on the flat, following the spit. It was great for a couple of runs but then the lightening and thunder was overhead so i came in and packed up. I think i got the best of it. FF102, 6.6 GPS, 28 Lessacher cheers
Choco (14530km): Fun sail very gusty as usual, new RB felt very nice heaps of drive. Falcon 131 40cm RB 6.3 Lake Bonney
Captain skip bogan (50090km): Boggy Lake, SA, AU - 15 to 20 with a couple of stronger gusts. Fun arvo with a few out. Exciting cruise down with the roof racks almost ripping off the roof - deinitely wan't speeding lol. Started out on the 7.8, Patrik 115 and Black project R375. By the time we rigged the wind had picked up so a few runs in - max downhaul (sail felt awesome), time to change down. Put the 6.3 gun sails gsr, Patrik 87, Black project R325 and back out to finish the sesh. Felt excellent and managed to get hold of a powered gust for the peak and almost got an hour in a little short but great fun on 4 - 5 km runs. Hope for more sessions like this ...
