Coal Point, NSW, AU. 6.6 Hucker 110 Naish. Not the best wind, up and down and shifting around alot but still had a fun session. Really weird sailing Coalie before lunch, the sun position makes it look heaps windier than it is.

Patchy 12-20kts E - ENE then solid 20 - 23kts for one run Coal Point, NSW, AU

6.6m KA Koncept - RS4 ( 111ltres) 36cm drake pointer - got 24.7kts ( GPS ) on this combo which is good for me on that combo in chop.

Then one run on the RS2 ( 90ltre) - 33cm Select pointer. The first time I've used a pointer with that board.

Well that was fun! I feel like the old me is coming back...Cool

Distance PB for me at Coal.  Launched about 11am - good in the gusts ( enough for the RS2 ) but big patches of 10kts so big board and 6.6m. Love these pointer fins..The board trims heaps better and isn't as glued to the water.. Had to clear weed a few times but generally great. Usually in chop I'm concentrating or a bit anxious but I found a big grin on my face at times today.Smile A smaller sail is nice.I felt quite comfy out there today. A few runs towards Carey and went for quite a few nm's but always seemed to get a lull in the middle until the run at the end mega powered on the smaller board where I got the 2sec and nm.

It's been a long time since I've been out on the smaller gear in chop and a long time since I've done over 26kts in chop so I'm happy..Cool

Few breaks..Tony & I at first.. It finally kicked in big time ( 20-24kts +) at 3pm ( been sailing almost 4hrs and stuffed..Undecided But I had to try the smaller board..Really powered up but enjoyed it although I was a bit worried about getting back. ( could have had the 5.7m on ) It was ok and it settled down a bit after the initial puff and I could have been good but I was too tired and time to go.

Craig and Andrew went out and did a big bearaway then..Greg arrived and was going to go out.

Boat wake wasn't too bad except for a few mega cruisers.. The chop was getting pretty big by the time I got out on the smaller kit.

Hopefully I'll have the energy to sail again tomorrow.. maybe a rest at Budgy..Smile

Foil session at Marmong tried Fanatic and slingshot foils after doing bbq all weekend for the club.

Packed up and went to coal point and yep it died in the ass but still managed a sail in on and off and bumpy as hard work.

Dont know how to join foil session on gt31 top speed 19.8 knots but wasnt trying just foiling.
